The Original Mother’s (26 W. Division St.) celebrates 50 years of business with an all out 90’s party on October 7, 2018. The Gold Coast hot spot, has been a staple on Division St. for the past 50 years, as a place for locals, tourists, celebrities, singles and throwback music with the largest dance floor in the area. The legendary establishment, one of the United States’ longest running nightclubs, was featured in the popular 80s movies, About Last Night with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore and Class with Andrew McCarthy, Jacqueline Bisset, Rob Lowe, and John Cusack.

The anniversary party is part of the inaugural I LOVE THE 90’s TOUR featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Young MC, and Tone Loc. Ticket prices start at $60 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Attendees will dance to 90s favorites like “Ice, Ice Baby”, “Funky Cold Medina” and more. Doors open at 8 p.m. The Original Mother’s is offering a variety of VIP packages and tables ranging from $125-$2,250. Packages include a variety of alcohol, Champagne, Bacardi rum, Absolut vodka, snacks, the best seating in the house, and a VIP Pre-Party starting at 6:30 pm.
