Perry’s first opened as a small butcher shop in 1979 and has grown to a premier steakhouse. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Perry’s will soon be announcing #FlashbackFriday. On a special date—soon to be announced on Perry’s social media and email distribution list —the restaurant will announce its #FlashbackFriday event, offering a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch to the first 100 lucky customers (21 years and older).
On #FlashbackFriday, the first 100 people in line outside of the restaurant when it opens at 11 a.m. will receive cards redeemable that day for a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch. Perry’s Famous Pork Chop is a seven-finger high chop that is hand-selected, cured, roasted, slow-smoked and caramelized, topped with Perry’s signature herb-garlic butter sauce and carved tableside for dinner service.
Perry’s is open for lunch on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. While the full lunch and dinner menus are also available during Friday lunch each week, Perry’s serves an average of 6,000 pork chops every Friday at lunch company-wide across its 15 steakhouse locations. Guests enjoy the lunch-cut portion of the famous chop with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce for only $14.95 every Friday. The tableside carving presentation of the chop is reserved for Perry’s dinner service only.
