Head to the South Loop on Marathon Sunday for a fabulous, family-friendly viewing party. The Chicago Firehouse restaurant will welcome guests on Sunday, October 13 to cheer on all participating runners and Team Special Olympics Chicago. The race route is just steps from the steakhouse.

A brunch buffet ($25, $11 for kids 3-11) will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Toast to the race with bottomless mimosas and bloody marys for $20 (with purchase of the buffet). The featured drink for the day will be a Special Olympics “Polar Plunge” cocktail (blueberry mojito, $12). Children will enjoy face painting, a balloon artist, and fire station/fire truck bounce house. Spectators will receive foam fingers, cowbells, pom poms and other spirited items.
