2. Superfood Bakery Morning Dreamer Pancakes (£6.55)

If you’re dairy-free, gluten-free… or just forgetful, you can end up missing out on all the Pancake Day fun because you don’t have the right ingredients. The clever team at Superfood Bakery understand this – their Morning Dreamers Pancake mix just needs milk and eggs (or suitable dairy-free/plant-based replacements) to make up to 15 pancakes. It might say morning on the pancake, but they’re just as good at the end of the day!

They’ve taken popcorn to the next level, combining caramel, white chocolate and strawberry to create something a decadent as it is delicious. 4. Iliada Extra Virgin Olive Oil (£5.95)

So there are a few everyday ingredients that Gousto doesn’t supply in our recipe kits like salt, pepper, flour, and olive oil. These are all things you usually have around your kitchen already… Unless (like me) you love olive oil so much you seem to run out every week.

This extra virgin olive oil from southern Greece is wonderful. It has a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), which should reassure you that it’s the real deal. Delish.

5. Foxhole Craft Gin (£37.95)

Gin has arrived in the Gousto Market! And for those of us doing Dry January, just in time. Foxhole make craft gin at its finest – this stuff takes a full year to make, as it uses grape spirit from Sussex grapes as well as grain spirit that gins are traditionally made with. It’s totally unique, defiantly British and the perfect way to add a little class to a get-together.
