Celebrating 30 years at what may arguably be the largest annual trade show for the kosher market, Kosherfest 2018 is coming to the Meadowlands Expo Center on Nov 13 and 14.
First launched in 1989, the event soon began selling out shows at the Javitz Center in New York City. New Jersey business KAYCO, which exhibited at the very first Kosherfest with its Kedem grape juice, will be celebrating the milestone at the trade show.
The company, which is headquartered in Bayonne, has captured many awards in the Kosherfest New Products competition. KAYCO will be at Booth #419 for the festival, offering its line of kosher snacks, gluten-free products, and Passover essentials.
Menachem Lubinsky, who led the charge with Kosherfest when it first began, said that “KAYCO and Kosherfest grew up together. They were with us for the first Kosherfest, back when there were only a fraction of products available.”
Other participating companies in this year’s Kosherfest include Gefen and Heaven & Earth. Gefen will be presenting a new flavor for their Organic Chestnuts, Tart Cherry Juice, Coconut Milk, and gluten-free stuffing. Heaven and Earth will be bringing out their Veggie Croutons and Zucchini Veggie Spirals among other products.
Other new products for this years event include Yehuda Matzo’s four-pack assortment, Paesana all natural marinara, tomato basil and organic tomato basil sauces, and a line of Amstelvelder Dutch Cheeses.
New products for Passover 2019 include Haddar Tahini by Baracke, original and seasoned tahini sesame paste; Heaven & Earth’s Instant Meals in A Cup, Shibolim Rice Chips, and the Similac Lamehadrin Badatz certified Infant formula and toddler drinks.
Kosherfest will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov 13, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov 14. Meadowlands Expo Center is located at 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus.
