Chung Chun Rice Dog
A new option for food on a stick has arrived: The behemoth Korean street food chain Chung Chun Rice Dog soft-opens its first Seattle location in the former space of Tofully today. The company is known for its “Korean corn dogs” dipped in rice flour batter and fried before being rolled in crunchy coatings, such as panko breadcrumbs, potatoes, or crushed instant ramen noodles, for a chewy-crispy effect. Other variations include a mozzarella stick-hot dog hybrid (!) and a squid-ink and mozzarella version. During the soft opening, guests can also get a free drink (water, juice, or soda) of their choice with the purchase of two hot dogs.
