Celebrate a restaurant’s first birthday

Help Virginia-Highland restaurant Whiskey Bird celebrate its first anniversary with a whole pig roast and food and drink specials. Westside sushi spot O-Ku is hosting a party in honor of the bloom of Japan’s Sakura trees. Mix and mingle with the people who grow your food at the family-friendly CSA Fair and Farmer Mixer, hosted by Atlanta Farmers Coalition and Wholesome Wave Georgia. Get to know local farmers and learn about CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), which offer weekly boxes of fresh produce.

Tee up for tasty bites

Celebrate the start of spring and golf season at the Optimist’s Par-TEE on the Green. Held on the restaurant’s patio, the event will feature bites including deviled eggs with crispy oysters and peel and eat shrimp, specialty drinks (two per ticket), live music and the Masters tournament projected on the big screen. Participants can also try out the 1-hole putt-putt course for an additional $5 per player — the top three guests to hit their ball closest to the hole will win prizes, with the top golfer getting dinner for two at the Optimist.

Butter up with spice

Two chefs join forces
