Owner Clemence Danko opened the first Choc-O-Pain in Hoboken in 2012 after she said she couldn't find a quality croissant or baguette in the area.
If you bake fresh croissants, they will come.
Hoboken and Jersey City favorite Choc O Pain, a French bakery, just opened a fourth N.J. location in the Hudson Tea Building.
Owner and France-native Clemence Danko opened the first Choc O Pain in Hoboken in 2012 after she said she couldn’t find a quality croissant or baguette in the area.
Her baking has earned raves and awards ever since, including wins in French Morning’s competition for her croissant this year and last year for her baguette.
The new location has a similar “Parisian chic” design aesthetic and also offers and catering and a private room for special events.
The bakery and cafe, located in the Hudson Tea Building at 1500 Hudson Street in Hoboken, will be open Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Delivery is also available through postmates.com.)
