Anyone with an appetite for fun is in for a treat this weekend, as two food truck festivals will be taking place in Hudson County.

The festivities start Friday, July 27 at Harborside at 200 Greene St., Jersey City. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. the street will host 20+ trucks, live music, interactive games and more.

Live music and entertainment for all ages will be in the URBY parking lot. Admission is $5 and children under 12 are admitted free.

If you’re not too stuffed after that event, you have another opportunity to feed your face Saturday at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on East Apron near the Winner’s Circle, the racetrack will host its fifth annual seafood festival.

Vendors will include Caribbean Soul Catering, Carnival Concessions, Kimchi Smoke featuring fish tacos, All Surf No Turf, Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice Ice Cream, Two Guys Catering, House of Cupcakes, Angry Archie’s, Empanada Guy, Mozzarella God, Mobile Mardi Gras and Bes’ Dam Soup

The seafood festival will also host a shrimp speed-eating competition and seafood buffet. The buffet will offer a variety of menu items for $39.95, as well as a 1.25 pound lobster for an additional $20 per person. To make a buffet and lobster reservation call 201-The-BigM.
