For those of you searching for the very best burger, the Meadowlands Racetrack is hosting its 3rd Annual Battle for the Best Burger on Saturday, June 9….The Burger Battle also coincides with the Belmont Stakes, so fans can watch can check out the simulcast as Justify attempts to make history and become a Triple Crown Winner.
For those of you searching for the very best burger, the Meadowlands Racetrack is hosting its 3rd Annual Battle for the Best Burger on Saturday, June 9. The free event will run from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and there is no admission fee. Guests are encouraged to come out and get a taste of the best local burgers and a chance to win a spot at the Judging Table to help determine the top three burgers. The event will take place on the East Apron of the Grandstand.
Participants of this years event include Chef Bryan Gregg of Orama, Little Bire of Paradise, 2016 Champions South + Pine American Eatery, 2017 Champions Carnival Concessions, Good Mood Truck, Fed by Ed, Spanky’s Gourmet Grub, Chris Curbside Cravings, The New Maggie’s Bar & Grill, and Dark Side of the Moo.
The contest will offer a $1,500 grand prize along with $1,000 for 2nd Place and $500 for 3rd. Guests looking for mare than just burgers can check out the $39.95 BBQ Buffet as well.
The Burger Battle also coincides with the Belmont Stakes, so fans can watch can check out the simulcast as Justify attempts to make history and become a Triple Crown Winner. The first race takes place at 11:35 a.m. and the Belmont Stakes post at 6:45 p.m. Also, for anybody looking for some live action, harness racing will kickoff at the Meadowlands at 7:15 p.m.
