Marietta Square is about to get some new ‘cue

Hawg & Ale Smokehouse is set to open at 25 Powder Springs St. on April 10, according to Buddy Finethy, vice president of marketing.

The restaurant replaces Chantico Burrito Cantina, which closed in September 2017.

Hawg & Ale also has a location in Peachtree Corners called Hog and Ale.

The menu will feature barbecue staples including pulled pork sandwiches, smoked turkey breast, chopped brisket and smoked St. Louis Ribs and more creative fare with starters such as sweet tea collard greens, Sweetwater 420 Boiled Peanuts and pork rinds and queso.

Also look some vegetarian options including salads and the Unporked Sandwich made with smoked vegetables, as well as sides such as mac and cheese, fried okra and baked beans and a kids menu.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner.
